2019 Undergraduate Public Health and Global Health Education Summit

The Undergraduate Public Health and Global Health Education Summit is held in conjunction with the 2019 ASPPH Annual Meeting. The Undergraduate Summit is all-day Wednesday, March 20 and the ASPPH Annual Meeting is March 20‐22, both events will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA.

Since 2011 the annual Undergraduate Summit has brought together public health educators, professionals, and students involved or interested in undergraduate public health education, and will feature presenters representing academic institutions with undergraduate public health programs, CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health, and organizations working closely with undergraduate public health education initiatives.

ASPPH will also offer a pre-conference workshop on Tuesday, March 19 for faculty teaching undergraduate students. The faculty development workshop, facilitated by Dr. Susan Albertine (Senior Scholar, AAC&U), will be an interactive assignment-design charrette based on a process developed by the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA). This workshop will build on last year’s workshop but will be equally beneficial for those new to assignment-design workshopping.

Registration is closed. Onsite registration is not available for this event.
