Join the West Virginia University School of Public Health as it kicks off its 10-year anniversary celebration, featuring opening remarks from School of Public Health Dean Jeff Coben; WVU President Gordon Gee; Clay Marsh, WVU Health Sciences chancellor and executive dean; Laura Magaña, president and CEO of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health; and Jim Kaufman, president of the West Virginia Hospital Association.
Following remarks, Dean Coben will lead a panel discussion, “Current Trends and Issues in Public Health and Healthcare,” that includes Gee, Magaña, and Kaufman, as well as Dr. Ayne Amjad, former Commissioner and State Health Officer for the Bureau for Public Health, West Virginia Dept. of Health and Human Resources, and Thomas Jones, WVU Board of Governors chairman and retired CEO of the West Virginia United Health System.
