Earlier this month, the Council On Education for Public Health (CEPH) adopted a revised set of Accreditation Criteria for Schools of Public Health and Public Health Programs*. The revision, part of a process underway since 2020, addresses themes of diversity, equity, and inclusion. CEPH will host a webinar on Thursday, May 9 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM ET that will provide an overview of the revised criteria and include an opportunity to ask questions.

*Please note: these changes relate to criteria for accredited units in Public Health Programs (PHP) and Schools of Public Health (SPH) categories only—no changes relate to the criteria for Standalone Baccalaureate Programs (SBPs).

CEPH also released Revised Accreditation Procedures, effective immediately, for PHP, SPH, and SBP categories.
