Celebrate National Public Health Week with ASPPH Presents Webinars

ASPPH Presents two National Public Health Week Webinars on April 8 and 10 from 1-2

National Public Health Week (NPHW) is an opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made in advancing health and well-being while also recommitting to the work ahead. As we mark 30 years of this vital observance, ASPPH is proud to host two ASPPH Presents webinars that spotlight the energy, innovation, and dedication driving our field forward – one on April 8 and one on April 10 and both from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM ET.

These webinars will explore two critical dimensions of public health: the passion and promise of the next generation, and the significant progress made over three decades of advocacy, education, and action. From elevating new voices in the field to honoring the leadership that has shaped our collective impact, this year’s NPHW programming is a celebration of both where we’ve been and where we’re going.

Join us for these special events and help us amplify the momentum of public health:

Tuesday, April 8 | 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET

Students and early career professionals will discuss what drives their commitment to public health and how we can support the next generation of leaders. A passionate group of public health faculty from our members will also share their expertise and discuss the importance of public health and the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the profession.

Thursday, April 10 | 1:00 – 2:00 PM ET

Celebrate 30 years of NPHW while our President and CEO, Dr. Laura Magaña moderates a discussion with our Board Chair, Hilary Godwin, Dean, the University of Washington School of Public Health, and leaders from the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) as they reflect on public health achievements and discuss the road ahead.

Stay up to date on future ASPPH Presents webinars on our series webpage. Additionally, join us in celebrating National Public Health Week by sharing your public health stories, wins, and work on social media!
