ASPPH invites submissions for a groundbreaking Research Topic in Frontiers in Public Health: Transforming Academia for Equity. This initiative builds on ASPPH’s commitment to dismantling racism and promoting inclusive excellence in academic public health, as outlined in our 2030 Strategic Plan and “Dismantling Racism and Structural Racism in Academic Public Health: A Framework” report. The deadline for manuscript summary submissions is January 13, 2025, and the deadline for full manuscript submissions is May 3, 2025.
In partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, ASPPH and seven academic institutions have spent 18 months developing adaptive change strategies to create equitable academic environments. This Research Topic aims to share insights from this transformative journey, highlighting progress, challenges, and successes across diverse public health institutions.
