As the voice of academic public health, ASPPH prides itself on working with our members toward the vision of improved health for everyone, everywhere while championing social justice and equity for all. Lately, we have had serious concerns about Twitter’s recent actions that are enabling hate speech and mis/disinformation about public health and many other issues. With great thought and consideration, we have decided that, for the time being, we will deemphasize it as a social media platform we utilize.
 
We will continue to monitor Twitter while also evaluating other social media alternatives. Please know that you can continue to find us on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
