Last week, ASPPH welcomed a new class of scholars participating in the cohort-based Academic Public Health Leadership Institute (APHLI). This cohort-based program will address various challenges unique to institutions of higher education, such as issues of shared governance; promotion, tenure, and faculty evaluation; recruiting and supporting a diverse faculty; appropriate use of adjunct and/or temporary faculty; managing accreditation; and digital learning.
This year’s program will include virtual sessions, executive coaching, and an on-campus program. The APHLI Advanced Leadership Program is led by faculty from the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). CCL, a global leader in executive education, draws on decades of experience developing top leaders in academia and public health.
