The National MCH (Maternal and Child Health) Workforce Development Center (Center) is excited to announce a new initiative – the MCH Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Diverse Institutions – for early career and mid-level public health faculty members from Diverse Institutions. Applications are due Thursday, November 9, 2023.
MCH Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Diverse Institutions (Faculty Fellowship) will support up to 10 early career and mid-level public health faculty, from Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) across the country, to participate in a 2-year Fellowship to build institutional maternal and child health (MCH) public health capacity. Faculty Fellowships will support faculty engagement, expand MCH-focused partnerships with community organizations and governmental agencies, and contribute to developing a diverse MCH workforce that can address MCH inequities in communities that are historically underserved.
To learn more and apply for the fellowship, visit the MCH Faculty Development Fellowship Program at Diverse Institutions website.
Faculty Fellows will be supported by a team of mentors and coaches. If you are interested in supporting faculty development and are not an early career faculty member, consider applying to become a Consultant with the project. Consultants with a variety of expertise and experience in academia, Title V MCH, and community-based MCH, to name a few, are encouraged to apply.
