Sarah Marie Gusman, MPH

Data Analyst I

Sarah Gusman, MPH, CHES, Data Analyst 1, leads annual reporting efforts for the ASPPH Data Center and manages the ASPPH Data Center Portal for data reporting and analytics. As a staff member for the ASPPH Data Center, Sarah is involved in data collection efforts, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and report dissemination. Sarah also works closely with the Center for Public Health Workforce Development on workforce improvement projects funded by the CDC. 

Before coming to ASPPH, Sarah worked in local and state governmental public health for five years. She spent three years at the Anne Arundel County Department of Health in the HIV/STI Prevention and Care program developing an educational program for clinicians and completing disease intervention specialist work. Following this, Sarah spent two years with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as the Cancer Prevention and Control Branch Data Manager. In this position, Sarah coordinated data collection and reporting efforts for the North Carolina National Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program funded by the CDC. Sarah obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Lynchburg in 2017. In 2020, Sarah earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from George Washington University while working full-time at the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Health.
