Public health is ultimately a discipline a way of looking at the world identifying health problems and then working across sectors to make sure that communities are physically socially emotionally but also economically healthy. Regardless of what happens in politics the need for public health is constant because people need clean air and water. People need access to good food, people need access to health care in moments of illness, and people need to feel social support So at this moment as at every other one across history public health remains foundational to communities everywhere.
