I think the impact of public health is great and I think that we in public health are sometimes too humble and don’t really say how much of the contribution. When you think about what the impact of a clinical care that’s about 20% now of generating health the rest is public health and that’s what we’re contributing we’re making sure that people have those conditions that allow them to be healthy… and to do that we have to train the workforce and that’s where academic public health comes in we have to do the cutting edge research that helps with the policies that are passed to support the health of everyone.
