The Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) represents 21 national health professions associations with members at institutions of higher education that award academic degrees to students in the health professions. Their Planning and Advisory Group met in person last week and strategized about the upcoming fiscal year priorities and short and long-term goals for the IPEC board’s consideration.
Discussions revolved around increasing the effectiveness and reach of IPEC’s faculty development institutes, Phase II certification, leadership program, scoping review, institutional assessment instrument, and 2023 core competencies (forthcoming in the late summer/early fall).
The new president and CEO of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), Halaevalu “Valu” F. Ofahengaue Vakalahi, hosted the meeting.
