ASPPH invites recent graduates from ASPPH-member, Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited schools and programs of public health to apply for the 2025 ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program. This prestigious opportunity offers early-career professionals invaluable, hands-on experience at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Applications are being accepted now through Friday, March 13, 2026.
The ASPPH/CDC Public Health Fellowship Program offers applied mentored learning experiences to recent graduates holding master’s or doctoral degrees in public health. The program provides critical capacity, support, and technical assistance to CDC host sites while fostering career advancement and applied mentorship to the next generation of public health leaders.
Fellowship Details
- Number of Positions: 18 new fellowship placements available
- Tracks Offered: Health Education and Core Public Health
- Duration: One-year, full-time training beginning September 2026
Eligible applicants must have:
- Received their master’s or doctorate degree from an ASPPH-member school or program of public health within the last five years.
- US citizenship or permanent residency (green card status).
