The World Health Organization (WHO) is preparing a Special Report on Climate Change and Health for the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). WHO is hosting a public consultation to provide the health community with an opportunity to contribute to the development of the Special Report. You can register for the consultation here. It will be held on September 4, 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET (8:00 to 9:30 AM ET). 

The Special Report will propose a set of priority actions from the global health community to governments and policymakers, calling for urgent response to the current climate and health crises.

COP29 is the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference, which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan November 11, 2024 – November 22, 2024.
