As the voice of our academic public health members, we work with our community of over 25,000 professionals to help address important public health issues and initiatives. Our dedicated member schools and programs of public health play a vital role in advancing health in their communities and they are united in the common goal of enhancing academic public health locally and globally.
We engage with members to promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, identify and disseminate educational resources, support professional development and a community of lifelong learning, and eliminate racism, harassment, and discrimination in academic public health.
ASPPH supports and facilitates the practice efforts of schools and programs of public health, including the application of research to practice, and the collaboration between the academic and practice communities.
We offer resources to facilitate far-reaching and forward-thinking education in public health and work closely with members to support the translation of public health research into practice.
