The Council on Education for Public Health’s (CEPH) next five-year revision of its Accreditation Criteria for Schools and Programs of Public Health is scheduled for 2026, and it is beginning to gather information and feedback from partners to inform its revision process for the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. Those working in academic public health may provide feedback by January 9, 2025.

All accredited Public Health Programs (PHP) and Schools of Public Health (SPH) offer an MPH degree, and CEPH is beginning its criteria revision process by considering the MPH curriculum—specifically, the foundational competencies required for all MPH degrees.
