This is Public Health

This Is Public Health (TIPH) is an initiative launched by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) in 2008. Originally designed as a marketing campaign, TIPH has grown into a comprehensive brand bringing awareness to education and career paths in public health. At the heart of TIPH’s mission is the commitment to showcasing the breadth and impact of public health. By engaging with students, professionals, and communities, TIPH fosters a deeper understanding of how public health touches every aspect of our lives, from ensuring clean air and water to promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing diseases.

Through a dynamic range of activities—including a student ambassador program, graduate fairs, strategic partnerships, and interprofessional events—TIPH seeks to grow the number of future public health professionals.

I Heart Public Health

Throughout the month of February, we celebrate I ❤️ Public Health Month to highlight the important and varied role public health plays in the global community. We hope you take part in the conversation by using #I❤️PublicHealth on Instagram and #ThisIsPublicHealth on all social media platforms, following the campaign, and sharing posts.

Climate Change is a Public Health Crisis

ASPPH has released Responding to the Climate Change and Health Crisis: A Framework for Academic Public Health. The framework addresses the urgent challenges of climate change and health across four domains—Education and Training, Research, Practice, and Policy and Advocacy—and integrates themes of Justice, Collaboration, and Partnership to drive meaningful change in public health.
