Yale: New MS Program in Infectious Diseases to Launch

The Yale School of Public Health is launching a one-year Master of Science program with a concentration in the epidemiology of infectious diseases to provide analysts and clinicians with the education and skills needed to fight existing and emerging threats.

The MS program is intended for people seeking careers in research in academic, government or industry settings or clinicians who want to perform research.

“There is a growing need for individuals that have strong quantitative and research training in public health, and this new program will help to train the next generation of analysts and clinicians in cutting-edge research methodology for infectious diseases,” said associate professor Dr. Daniel Weinberger who will be leading the program with associate professor Dr. Luke Davis.
