Dr. Lianne Sheppard, professor of biostatistics and professor and assistant chair of environmental and occupational health sciences at the University of Washington School of Public Health, has been appointed as a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee beginning in October.
The committee members’ scientific and technical expertise, experience, and innovation play critical roles in the success of the EPA’s approach to environmental protection, which is essential to the EPA’s ability to protect public health and safeguard the environment.
