TIPH Ambassador Highlight: Elizabeth Stephenson, University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health

ASPPH would like to thank Ms. Elizabeth Stephenson, the This is Public Health (TIPH) Ambassador from the University at Albany SUNY School of Public Health, for assuming responsibility for our social media this week. Ms. Stephenson is currently an MPH student concentrating in health policy and management. Throughout this week, she has been highlighting global health and the important issues that face our international community.

Ms. Stephenson was invited to present in a workshop this Thursday, October 17, at the annual American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Global Health Summit in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The title of the presentation is “Using Logic Models.” Essentially, she will be explaining what logic models are and why they are important.

Originally from Westchester, NY, Ms. Stephenson recently completed an international internship in rural Uganda. Her interests are in minority health disparities and health equity.

Follow along throughout the year on all our social media platforms to witness the incredible work our TIPH Ambassadors are sharing.
