Mr. Gregory Garrett, doctoral candidate at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health, has been named “Student of the Year” at the Applied Ergonomics Conference in Orlando, Florida. This national competition is conducted by the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and the cash award is sponsored by CNA Insurance.

Mr. Garrett’s research has for the past two years been selected as one of the top three student research posters during the school’s annual National Public Health Week research poster competition.
This is the fourth time in six years Texas A&M graduate students have received this national recognition. Previous winners were Ms. Kristen Miller, Mr. James Stafford, and Ms. Meghan Kress.
