Dr. Bita Kash, associate professor, and Mr. Jack Buckley, executive-in-residence, were awarded two of three distinguished service awards given.

Dr. Kash serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Healthcare Management and director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT). Buckley has a long association with ACHE, most recently serving as a member of the board and vice-president of the ACHE-Southeast Texas Chapter.
Additionally, three Texas A&M School of Public Health master of health administration students received scholarships including Mr. Josh Rivera, the Jeptha W. Dalston Academic Scholarship; Ms. Caroline Uptmore, the Don Wagner Academic Scholarship; and Mr. John Creel, the ACHE-Southeast Texas Chapter Academic Scholarship.
