Texas A&M School of Public Health graduate students in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health were recently awarded national and regional scholarships from the American Society of Safety Professionals. Ms. Kamrie Sarnosky received the Janet Sprickman Award, sponsored by the National Capital Chapter, Pollock-Stegall Grant for Emerging Professionals; Mr. Onoriode Kesiena received the Texas Safety Foundation Bill Durham Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Memorial Scholarship; Ms. Melissa Glass received the Texas Safety Foundation Bill Durham HSE Memorial Scholarship; Ms. Oluyomi Oloruntoba received the Texas Safety Foundation George Gustafson HSE Memorial Scholarship; Mr. Tomas Johanson received the Texas Safety Foundation John Hodges HSE Memorial Scholarship; and Mr. Ekene Nnajiuba received the Texas Safety Foundation Steve Halliburton HSE Scholarship.
