Dr. Hung Luu, an assistant professor of epidemiology in the USF College of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, has joined the Asia Cohort Consortium (ACC) to examine various health outcomes of Asian populations.
The ACC consists of investigators of 29 cohort studies from across Asia, including some in China, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, as well as the U.S.
Investigators meet on a biannual basis to share research results of the cohort studies and to plan for collaborative research.
The ACC have collected data on risk factors, including lifestyle, environmental and genetic factors of different disease outcomes in more than one million total people.
