200,000 meals later, University of Michigan SPH alumnus Mr. Noam Kimelman makes the Forbes’ 30 under 30 list by helping Detroit eat healthier. Mr. Kimmelman is cofounder of Fresh Corner Café which he launched in 2011 while a student at the School of Public Health. The company’s mission is to make sure every Detroit resident has access to healthy meals. Meals cost between $3 and 5. Mr. Kimelman also leads Detroit Food Academy which is a training ground for high school students to start their own food businesses.
