Mr. Michael Botticelli, director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy during the Obama Administration, will present at the session titled, Forecasting and Deflecting the Opioid Epidemic Curve, on Thursday, March 16, 10:15 – 11:45 a.m. during the 2017 ASPPH Annual Meeting. Dean Donald Burke, University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health, will moderate the session and also present on the opioid epidemic modeling work being conducted at the University of Pittsburgh that was recently highlighted in Science. The session will allow time for a robust discussion about this critical public health challenge.
The program for the ASPPH Annual Meeting focuses on issues of critical importance to our schools and programs. Leaders, faculty, staff, and students from all ASPPH-member schools and programs are encouraged to attend the 2017 ASPPH Annual Meeting Wednesday, March 15 – Friday, March 17, at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA..
