The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health has been reaccredited for seven years — the maximum accreditation period possible — by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
CAHME accreditation is a benchmark for content and quality of healthcare management degree programs nationwide, and is considered the standard for excellence. CAHME is the sole accrediting body for programs offering professional degrees in healthcare management; founded in 1991, the MHA program offers the only accredited healthcare management degree at UK.
“I am proud of the continued excellence of our MHA program in the College of Public Health,” Dean Donna Arnett said.
“Reaccreditation by CAHME reflects the dedication of our faculty, the excellence of our students, and the achievements of our alumni, as well as our college-wide commitment to advancing health in Kentucky and beyond. It is an honor to be part of our MHA program’s forward-thinking approach to preparing future administrators to fill critical roles as healthcare organization leaders.”Friday Letter Submission
