Ms. Tina Freese Decker, president and CEO of Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been recognized by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of 2019’s Top 25 Women Leaders. Ms. Freese Decker earned her MHA from the University of Iowa College of Public Health in 2002.
The biennial recognition program honors the top women health care executives who are influencing policy and care delivery models across the country. In doing so, they also are highlighting the continued need to nurture diversity in health care organizations. Ms. Freese Decker and other 2019 winners are highlighted online.
A veteran of more than 16 years at Spectrum Health, Ms. Freese Decker has served as president and CEO since September 2018. She is a strong advocate for women in health care and is leading transformational change grounded in the Spectrum Health culture. She is highly regarded for her forward-thinking strategies, business acumen, and strong execution.
