On May 7, more than 50 Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health MPH students, from six fields of study, presented their work from practicums with organizations around the world to address real-world problems. Students specializing in clinical effectiveness, environmental health, global health, health and social behavior, health management, and health policy shared findings and professional experiences from their practicums — a degree requirement for the MPH — at a poster session held in Kresge Cafeteria. The electronic posters were scored by a team of faculty, alumni, and DrPH student judges, and all attendees could vote for the audience favorite. Mr. Ernest Barthelemy won first place for “Surgery in Haiti: Advocating for a Comprehensive National Policy”.
