Dr. Patricia (Polly) Pittman, has been named an honorary fellow of the American Academy of Nursing. The Honorary Fellow designation recognizes the contributions of noteworthy professionals from outside of the nursing profession. Honorary fellows are chosen by the American Academy of Nursing’s Board of Directors.
Dr. Pittman is a professor of health policy and management at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and the co-director of the GW Health Workforce Institute. Her research focuses on health workforce policy and innovation in the healthcare system.
