The Spatial Science for Public Health Center, based at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, is hosting a seminar and poster session on Wednesday, November 11.
Mr. Bill Wheaton, independent geospatial consultant at Sandhill Geospatial, LLC, and Mr. Jeffrey Allenby, director of Conservation Technology at the Chesapeake Conservancy, will discuss their careers and current work using geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis. Attendees will learn about real-world applications of GIS and spatial analysis in public health and new ways to utilize the technology.
