Submissions accepted: July 7-August 9, 2021
Meeting Date: November 3-4, 2021
Purpose: BARDA is pleased to continue our featured Lightning Talks showcase during this year’s virtual BARDA Industry Day (BID) on November 3- 4, 2021. This year’s BID will highlight the ways we collaborate with our stakeholders to continually enhance our medical countermeasure capabilities and efficiencies. This year’s theme is “Strengthening Partnerships, Advancing Innovation,” so diverse sessions will showcase the development of novel technologies, and encourage new collaborations that make these innovations possible.
BARDA Industry Day 2021 will be featuring our fourth annual Lightning Talks session to showcase innovative discoveries and promote stakeholder networking through virtual conference introductions. Lightning Talks will be featured on both days during the afternoon sessions.
The Lightning Talk sessions are rapid presentations – fast paced, innovative, intriguing, and delivered in under 6 minutes! Lightning Talks are designed to be brief, energetic, and full of information to pique the curiosity of prospective industry and government partners. After the audience experiences this year’s lineup of succinct, dynamic presentations we encourage further introductions and virtual networking opportunities among all of our various attendees – BARDA staff, presenters, and other industry stakeholders.
Individuals and companies interested in submitting a topic for a Lightning Talk will need to submit a brief (maximum 500 words) summary of the proposed presentation with one optional PowerPoint slide.
Submissions will be accepted from July 7, 2021-August 9, 2021, so start planning your presentation today!
