Colorado Faculty Member Elected Regional President of Biometric Society

Dr. Katerina Kechris, associate professor of biostatistics and informatics in the Colorado School of Public Health Lifecourse Epidemiology and Adiposity and Diabetes (LEAD) center was recently elected president of the Western North American Region (WNAR) of the International Biometric Society.

WNAR is an international professional and academic society promoting the development and application of statistical and mathematical theory and methods in the biosciences. As president, Dr. Kechris will lead the annual regional meeting, coordinate student paper competitions and act as a liaison with other national and international societies.
