Colorado Associate Dean Receives Highest Honor in Anthropology

​Dr. Spero Manson, associate dean of research and director of the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health at the Colorado School of Public Health: University of Colorado was named the 2019 recipient of the Bronislaw Malinowski Award by the Society for Applied Anthropology (SAA.)

The award recognizes one’s efforts “to understand and serve the needs of the world’s societies” and “actively pursue the goal of solving human problems using the concepts and tools of social science during one’s entire career.”
