Dr. Camille Peres, associate professor at the Texas A&M School of Public Health, was co-author on a manuscript awarded the annual Human Factors Prize receiving a $10K cash award. This prize is a joint effort between the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and the Human Factors Journal. The paper titled, “Using Human Factors and Machine Learning to Design Procedures” is the result of her research program on procedures in high-risk industrial settings and represents an interdisciplinary effort, with Texas A&M University co-authors Dr. Tony McDonald from Industrial Engineering and Mr. Nilesh Ade from Chemical Engineering.
